INVICTUS

This has been an ugly day for me, but it has not stopped me from celebrating World Nutella Day! Yes, despite the beauty of my page, the real world can be really ugly. Still, The Lipstick Papers is unbeatable, and always celebrates anything beautiful! Lipstick, books, fashion, lifestyle, food, chocolate 😋🌹💝💋
Today it's World Nutella Day, and I was so happy to see a huge shelf full of Nutella at the supermarket! Nothing beats Nutella for chocolate, if you ask me.

According to www.nutella.com, our beloved chocolate was invented by confectioner Pietro Ferraro in 1946. Because of the war, cocoa supplies were short. Out of necessity, Ferrero tried to make a confit which would taste great but have little cocoa. He mixed sugar, hazelnuts and some cocoa into a paste and came up - with Nutella!
Nutella is an important cultural artifact, a piece of Italian pastry and chocolate art that is recognizable and meaningful the world over. Italy gave Nutella its own stamp.
Nutella can make beautiful war shortages, it can make beautiful even an ugly day like today. Happy World Nutella day from The Lipstick Papers !💋💋💋🌹💝👠💋💄💄
